Challenge

Our telecoms client had a strategic objective of saving £2bn over a period of two years. This represented a significant challenge to all areas of our client’s business. As part of the group’s strategic cost saving objective, our client conducted a cost review of their mission critical data centre operations across Northern Europe and targeted savings of 20% without operational impact.

Resolution

Netforte worked with our client to design and implement a competitive strategy to enable them to offer services to the vendor most in line with their strategy. As a result, our client asked Netforte to tender for the management of their large scale and state-of-the-art data centre facility which provided business critical systems. Our client awarded Netforte the managed services contract.

Benefit

Netforte introduced smart working practices, new technology and streamlined processes which resulted in a year-on-year cost saving of 10%. In addition to this, Netforte achieved and sustained dramatic operational and service-level improvements.
