Our banking client had recognised a shortfall in productivity and performance in their IT delivery. Critical system outages and costs increased whilst business satisfaction levels with IT began to reduce. The client was uncertain as to the cause(s) of this downturn and had no measures in place which could highlight where improvements could be identified and introduced. Netforte was invited to identify and assess the root cause and propose an action plan to stimulate and maintain productivity levels to meet business demand.
We carried out an efficiency assessment based on Netforte’s ITEM methodology and one of the recommended actions was to provide additional training to staff in support of their roles. The client opted for Netforte’s NPSPlus offering, to retrain the concerned staff in new methodologies and technologies.
The client was able to immediately increase their productivity by 18% and this was demonstrable using the KPI measurements we had put in place for them. The same measures are now in place to help support the on-going and continuous improvements. The retrained staff were more confident in their roles and this greatly improved their engagement and delivery levels with their business.
